The club maintains an extensive library of books, videos, study birds, fish and study bills for use of the members. The highlight of the club is its annual Carving Competition. Open to all carvers, the association awards ribbons, trophies and prizes in the Youth, Novice, Intermediate and Open classes. Judges invited from across Canada and United States are master carvers and world class authorities on wildlife art. The show is held in July each year. For further information on joining the club or finding out more about its activities, see the Events or Contacts sections.

People interested in carving are urged to attend, at no cost, to experience carving and see whether they would like to take up this hobby. If you enjoy carving or think you would, you can join the PEI Wildfowl Carvers Association and enjoy learning to carve as well as the camaraderie of fellow carvers. |
Our regular meetings include club carving projects, but carvers are welcome to work on their own projects. Our members consist of advanced carvers though to the beginner carver. From time to time guests are invited to demonstrate specific carving techniques, painting techniques or special interest subjects. Additional instruction is available through some individual members and we sponsor continuing education courses. |
